A fantastic example of an extremely early Colt AR-15, in untouched original condition.
Mechanically excellent with a bright bore. Includes one original Colt AR-15 marked 20 round magazine, with early Colt floorplate. Original black plastic handguard and stock are in likewise very fine condition, showing only expected minor scattered rub marks. Condition is very fine, retaining 97% original finish. Original rubber buttplate has no provision for cleaning kit trap, and stock has no storage for one. Serial number in the 1800 range, with all proper early features, including the 3 pronged flash hider, no forward bolt assist, chrome bolt, bolt carrier not cut for forward assist, early type safety, and rear sling swivel being a separate component.
